cTodd experienced culture shock when he went to a new and different country . At first he was alright but as soon as he reached India he was culture shocked. First when his boss told him that he is leaving to india he was alright with it ,but when he saw India he was so culture shocked because he saw cows on the street and he saw people urinating on the street in front of people. Also, when he saw the street he felt so uncomfortable. Also, he felt uncomfortable when he saw the place they gonna work in and when he saw a cow in the place . In addition , he was shocked when he saw the indian employees different accent and when he they call thing in different name for example; when he knew that they call and eraser a rubber , which means in American a condom. After the holy festival he learned a bit about India and he started adapting the culture and he started learning a bit about India. Then after making his employees comfortable in there office , befriended them ,started dating with Asha ,and understanding them the indian culture the MPI dropped to lower than six . More over, after adjusting to the place and dropping the MPI to lower than six his boss came to him and told him that he's gonna move him to china and he feld so bad after all the hard work . Then he didn't take the job and gave it to his friend Puuro . Then even though after moving to his country he felt again culture shock and he still got used to Indian culture. For example, he got used to wash himself by water in the bathroom rather than using toilet paper , putting a lot of sugar in the tea ,calling his mom ,and drinking by his right hand.

Create a reflection about the movie Outsourced using the PowerPoint I give you. Show that you really understand the above cultural concepts.
1. As soon as Todd arrives, he experiences the discomfort of being disoriented in a
strange new place. What happens at the airport? the guy who's welcoming him wrote his name wrong
2. When a friendly traveler helps him get on the train, what does he tell him to do?

4. As any exchange student, he has a lot of experiences trying new food. His first
encounter is with an iced drink. What happens? they gave him ice-cream
5. First encounters with a culture can be shocking – Todd sees crowded streets with
cows, noise, and a man urinating in the street. But how does his host describe the
city? he described it as clean
6. Even though the host Puro speaks English, Todd uses American slang a lot

By making our Emarati Film i learned a lot. First i learned how to to work with my class mates in a group. For example ; I always worked individually on all my work but now i learned how to work in a group. Secondly, i learned many aspects of my country that i forgot before, it was an interesting work that we did. Moreover, I also learned by making our film that we need to split the work to all the group members, for it would be better and more organized. To make a better film we also need a group leader. All in all, making our film was an exiting homework and I wish to have similar homework in the near future.

disability
Cultural Diversity
Disability
Disability is a broad term that compares actual ability to normal functioning. It is most often used to refer to an impairment. A person may be considered disabled if he or she has a condition that affects the ability to function without assistance at a level needed to maintain well-being.
Disabilities is an umbrella term, covering impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions. An impairment is a problem in body function or structure; an activity limitation is a difficulty encountered by an individual in executing a task or action; while a participation restriction is a problem experienced by an individual in involvement in life situations.

· functions of public bodies, for example the issuing of licences
The Equality Act also provides rights for people not to be directly discriminated against or harassed because they have an association with a disabled person. This can apply to a carer or parent of a disabled person. In addition, people must not be directly discriminated against or harassed because they are wrongly perceived to be disabled.

Culture and Personality in Anthropology
Read the section about Culture and Personality in Anthropology. Answer these questions about that section:-
1. Define “Anthropology” in your own words
The study of human societies and culture
2. What do you understand by “socialization of children” Give an example
By letting children to socialize , building his personality by letting him take his own decisions
3. Read this sentence again and give examples of childrearing in different societies and cultures: “socialization creates personality patterns. It helps shape people’s emotions, thoughts, behaviors, cultural values and norms to fit into and function as productive members in the surrounding human society. The study of culture and personality demonstrates that different socialization practices such as childrearing in different societies (cultures) result in different personality types.”
For example children in united states don’t interact with a lot of people and usually love one and other . children in the UAE like to interact with diffrent people and chat with them.
4. Read this sentence again and say to what extent you agree: “all humans are the same when born, but childrearing in different societies causes deviations in behavior and personalities from each other.”
I don’t agree with this because each child is born with his personality it doesn’t result from childrearing at all
5. Reflect on the reading above. Can you see a link between your culture and your personality? Think about that in relation to your own culture first, and then think about personality and culture in a different society. Reflect. Give examples.
No, personality and culture was never linked together because I have visited a lot of cultures in my life and in each culture sometimes I meet people with the same personality as me so that means that culture and personality are not linked together
